LIVESTOCK RESERVATION POLICY
A nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve livestock and will be applied toward the final purchase price. By placing a deposit, the buyer agrees to purchase the specific animal(s) selected.
Pickup is by appointment only and must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Reserved livestock must be picked up (or received upon delivery) within 7 days of the agreed-upon pickup date unless other arrangements are approved in writing.
Failure to pick up livestock by the agreed deadline, requests to reduce or alter a reserved order, or buyer cancellation may result in forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the reservation. Greenwood Acres New Jersey (GANJ) reserves the right to relist reserved livestock if pickup arrangements are not maintained.
Please ensure you have appropriate transportation, housing, feed, and fencing arrangements in place prior to purchase.
GANJ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any sale if there are reasonable concerns regarding the health, safety, welfare, transportation, housing, fencing, containment, or long-term care of the animal(s). GANJ supports lawful agricultural, breeding, dairy, fiber, companion, and meat-production purposes but reserves the right to decline sales when animal welfare may be compromised. The seller’s decision shall be final.
Submission of a deposit constitutes a binding agreement to purchase the reserved animal(s) and signifies the buyer’s acceptance of all GANJ livestock sales policies, including deposit, pickup, cancellation, and animal welfare provisions.
